The name Caryn's Hat has its origins in a custom order that stuck around... A friend of David's, the founder of Ithaca Sheepskin, brought him a hat and asked "Can you make me a hat like this one, but out of sheepskin?" David did, and it was such a sharp hat he decided he would make Caryn's hat for everyone!
